Mr. Asif Hussain – Director and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Asif Hussain joined Currency Market Associates (PVT) Limited as Chief Operating Officer on May 19, 2025, and was appointed Chief Executive Officer effective July 1, 2026. He also serves on the Board as a Director. With over 28 years of experience in Pakistan’s financial markets, Mr. Hussain brings deep expertise in interbank money marketand foreign exchange brokerage, fixed-income markets, and alternative investment products. He has held senior roles with leading financial-market intermediaries and has developed a strong understanding of the technical, commercial, and strategic dimensions of treasury-market services. Throughout his career, he has played an active role in the development of Pakistan’s debt and money markets, serving conventional and Shariah compliant financial institutions, investment banks, and asset management companies. His experience spans treasury products and market solutions across money markets, foreign exchange, fixed income, and Islamic financial instruments.

Mr. Hussain is known for his disciplined market approach, strategic perspective, and ability to lead high-performing dealing teams. His strong grasp of market conditions, policy developments, liquidity trends, and client requirements enables him to support the development of practical and well-structured treasury solutions for financial institutions and corporate clients. At Currency Market Associates (PVT) Ltd., he is focused onstrengthening the Company’s institutional relationships, professional standards, product capabilities, and market leadership in line with strategic requirements of its counterparties.

Mr. Faisal Anwar – Director
Mr. Faisal Anwar brings over 28 years of diversified experience in Pakistan’s banking and financial-services industry, with particular expertise in treasury, financial institutions,foreign exchange, fixed income, capital markets, Islamic finance, and balance-sheet management. Over the course of his career, he has held senior leadership positions atleading local and international financial institutions. His experience covers treasury salesand trading, asset and liability management, investment portfolios, correspondent banking, remittances, financial-institutions business, capital markets, and the development of Shariah-compliant treasury and investment solutions. Mr. Anwar has extensive experience in managing complex market and liquidity environments, developing institutional relationships, and leading teams responsible for delivering financial-market solutions to banks, corporates, asset management companies, and other institutional clients. He has also contributed to the development of Islamic money-market practices, Sukuk-based investment solutions, and treasury products suited to the evolving needs of Pakistan’s financial sector.

Mr. Habib Tejani – Chief Financial Officer ‘CFO’
Mr. Habib Tejani, holding ACMA qualification is a founder member of CMKA, joined in 1994 and working for over 35 years as Chief Financial Officer ‘CFO’. Prior to joining CMKA, he worked with a large foreign owned shipping agent, M/S Cooper and Company (Pvt) Ltd., as Finance Manager and was a key player in the tremendous growth and success of the company in Pakistan for over 10 years. At CMKA, Mr. Tejani oversees financial, audits and administrative issues of the company. He also collaborates with business heads to ensure overall success of CMKA and developed and utilized financial control systems in accordance with sound management procedures and financial practices.

Mr. Khalid Jamil – General Manager (Head of Research and Compliance)
Khalid Jamil joined CMKA in 2016. Khalid has mostly been associated with the financial industry with extensive experience of commercial banks’ Treasury, investment banking, Market Research and Compliance/KYC. During his more than 30 years´ experience in Kuwait, Pakistan, Türkiye and UAE, he has worked in a diverse range of senior position roles. He was Country Treasurer of Credit Agricole (The Global French Bank) Pakistan for ten years. He was also founder member for setting-up interbank Money Market brokerage business of a leading interbank brokerage house in Karachi. He attended courses of FERG Dubai, UAE on Exchange Companies FATF & AML/Compliance rules and was President (2000) & Executive Member (1997) of Financial Markets Association of Pakistan (FMAP). He holds a diploma of AIBD Zurich/ICMA London, specializing in international bonds, currencies and capital market businesses.

Mr. Farid Uddin Asif - Head of Foreign Exchange
Asif joined CMKA in 2018 and has more than 21 years of interbank foreign exchange brokerage business experience as Head of dealing desk. He has also worked for over 15 years with a leading bank’s Foreign Exchange contract department. Asif has rich experience in handling structured interbank Forex brokerage business and he brings with him good market knowledge. He is disciplined and has the leadership quality to handle forex desk of CMKA.

Mr. Natiq Shakeel - Head of Money Market
Natiq Shakeel joined CMKA in May 2025 and has over 16 years of interbank money market business experience. He has rich experience of working with leading brokerage houses; BMA Capital, Global Securities and Orix Investment Bank. He brings with him good market professional knowledge and reputation. He is disciplined and has the leadership quality to handle Money Market desk of CMKA.

Mr. Fahad Siddiq – Senior Dealer Money Market Brokerage Desk
Fahad joined CMKA in 2005 & has work experience of more than 21 years. He has closely worked under the guidance of some senior and experienced market Treasurers and dealers. Fahad has good know-how on interbank money market business flows & enjoys good market reputation. He is fully aware of underlying economic factors leading to changes in Money Market and strictly follow FMAP code of conducts and the guidelines of SBP.

Mr. Khurram Hussain Khan – Senior Dealer Money Market Brokerage Desk
Khurram joined CMKA in April 2026 with more than 30 years of experience in treasury & financial markets with leading investment and brokerage houses including Faysal Bank Ltd. He possess extensive expertise in Fixed Income, Forex, Treasury Sales, Asset & Liability Management & Islamic Finance. He developed Islamic Treasury operations and worked at senior levels in treasury management, institutional business development, fixed income trading & capital market activities with both domestic & international FIs. He had actively contributed to the development of Islamic Treasury solutions, including Sukuk and Ijarah based structures and participated in PSX integration initiatives of Shariah-compliant capital markets products. He holds an ACI Dealing Certified certificate and worked on Bloomberg terminal application for institutional sales in Pakistan’s financial market.
